Lenovo releases €150 LCD display

The Lenovo ThinkVision LT 1421 is a convenient add-on monitor for laptops. There is no need for an AC adapter and a monitor cable because it makes use of a double-cable usb to connect to the laptop.

The ThinkVision LT 1421 is a 14-inch monitor (36 inches on the diagonal) with 1366 × 768 pixels. It is a little heavier than an A4 block (870 grams), but can still fit into a luggage.

The LCD display is connected only with a USB cable to the computer or laptop. There is no need to plug it in, since it is completely bus-powered.

The whole thing is as spectacular as it sounds. The Lenovo ThinkVision software can be used to set it up as a secondary monitor under Windows. The display can be extended to the left or right, or you can choose the mode for presentations to duplicate the content.

The hardware is good middle class, the manufacturer specifies a brightness of 200 candelas per square meter and a contrast ratio of 400:1. For €150, you get a second monitor that’s worth much more.
